About This School
School Yoga Institute offers transformative 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training programs in Bali, combining traditional yogic teachings with earth-honoring wisdom and the Peruvian Medicine Wheel framework. With over 20 years of experience and 3,500+ graduates worldwide, SYI provides immersive trainings in Bali's sacred northern region at venues like Bumi Cinta and Sumberkima Hill. The Bali program blends Hatha and Vinyasa yoga with ancient ceremony, holistic wisdom, and connection to nature in oceanfront yoga shalas surrounded by lush forests and cacao groves. Students experience daily meditation, pranayama, and asana practice while exploring yoga philosophy, anatomy, the Yoga Sutras, Ayurveda, and the art of teaching. The curriculum integrates the four cycles of the shamanic medicine wheel—Serpent, Jaguar, Hummingbird, and Eagle—guiding personal transformation and self-discovery. SYI emphasizes inclusivity and accessibility, offering scholarships annually and maintaining small group sizes for personalized attention. Upon completion, graduates receive Yoga Alliance RYT-200 certification recognized worldwide.
